Omega 3 type fatty acids are so-called ‘essential fats’, which means our body is not capable of producing them, so we need to ensure the necessary intake from external sources.
Their primary source is various kinds of sea fish (cod, tuna, salmon, mackerel, herring, etc.); however, some plant-based foods, such as linseed oil, rape oil, are also rich in Omega 3 fatty acids.
